Wine:

From a 0.41-hectare parcel planted back in 1963, the 2023 Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru Morgeot White is a wine of striking finesse and pronounced minerality. Full of energy and texture, it reveals aromas of candied lemon, a delicate saline touch, and beautifully ripe fruit flavours. The palate is generous and persistent, with a deep, well-structured frame. This is a powerful and flavour-packed wine, driven by intense saline tension and built for long aging.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Aged for 12 months in 350-liter barrels, 15 to 20% of which are new, then 4 to 6 months in vats before bottling.
Vines on 0.41 ha, on the “Francemont” plot, planted in 1963, organically grown (not certified).
