Wine:

The 2023 Red Crozes-Hermitage Petite Ruche is a beautifully ripe Syrah that opens with smoky, bacon-like notes carried by freshness. Vinified and aged in cement tanks with no oak influence, it shows a sapid structure that is light and silky in tannins, bursting with pure indulgence. A wine of immediate pleasure, to be enjoyed within the next two years.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Vinification in cement vats with 2 pump-overs per day for 3 to 4 weeks after alcoholic fermentation. Aged in vats. Bottled the following autumn.

Color:

A brilliant carmine red of great intensity.

Nose:

Very appealing, with beautiful smoky bacon notes and plenty of freshness.

Palate:

Lively and light, with beautifully ripe fruit flavors, this cuvée delivers an irresistibly juicy profile with silky tannins. A wine made for pure enjoyment.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C in a large glass.

Delicatessen platter and tapas to share, simmered meat, roast chicken, entrecôte maître d'hôtel, Saint-Félicien.
