Wine:

The 2022 Red Saint-Joseph Peygros is beautifully fluid and supple on the palate, with gorgeous floral and spicy nuances. Crafted with the guidance of Jean-Louis Grippat, Stéphane Robert’s first mentor, this cuvée stands out for its elegance and balance. A wine of precision, with expertly handled aging and undeniable potential—it’s built to go the distance.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Plot of old vines, located in Tournon-sur-Rhône (birthplace of Saint-Joseph) in the locality of ‘Peygros’. Vinification and ageing in plot for 14 months. Ageing in bottle for 12 months before release.

Certified wine from a High Environmental Value operation.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C in a large glass.

Food and wine pairing:

Lamb rack with herbs, oven-matured prime rib, spiced stuffed quail, braised duckling and melt-in-the-mouth potatoes.

From today until 2036 and beyond for enthusiasts.
