The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine A vibrant benchmark in the Roussillon, Le Roc des Anges is one of our most beloved estates. Since 2001, the brilliant and meticulous duo Marjorie and Stéphane Gallet have crafted biodynamic wines of rare identity—wines that channel both power and elegance while revealing the deep mineral character of their exceptional terroirs.

These are wines of extraordinary finesse, deeply rooted in place and bathed in the luminous energy of the Roussillon landscape.

Now in high demand, the estate is entering a new chapter as the Gallets pass the torch to Thibault Ponthier. Don’t miss this chance to secure the final vintages of their parcel-based cuvées—especially since the low yields of 2024 will prevent them from being produced.
Wine A blend of Grenache Gris, Grenache Blanc, Macabeu, and Malvoisie, the 2023 IGP Côtes Catalanes Llum white is a masterclass in purity and minerality. Delicate floral aromas—linden blossom and lemon verbena—float above a taut, finely etched structure marked by ripe precision and deep saline intensity. Sourced from 70- to 100-year-old vines rooted in schist and limestone, and aged with restraint in barrel, this is a wine of stunning control and depth. Truly exceptional—and not to be missed. Rated 93/100 by our Selection Committee.
Vinification Hand harvested in 20 kg crates. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Aged in casks and barrels.
