The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine A beacon of Alsatian winemaking, Albert Mann is renowned for producing some of the region’s most exceptional biodynamic wines.

Under the expertise of Jacky Barthelmé and his son Antoine, who now leads the estate, both the whites and reds are masterfully crafted with a profound understanding of their terroir. The finest vineyards in Alsace truly come alive here, creating wines of extraordinary depth and emotion. With perfect balance, elegance, and remarkable drinkability, these wines set the standard for true connoisseurs.
Wine A rare gem from the estate, the 2022 Alsace Pinot Noir Clos de la Faille is crafted to match the highest Burgundy standards. Aged in barrels without new oak, this Pinot Noir offers a delicate and lightly extracted profile, perfectly reflecting the finesse and smoothness of the vintage. The wine showcases its innate elegance, vibrant flavours, and refined tannin structure, making it an exceptional match for dishes like roast poultry or veal chops. A truly exquisite wine to savour.
Vinification Hand harvested in small 20kg crates. Vinification in open vats. Natural fermentation. Aged for 17 months in barrels, 12.5% of which are new.
