The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Now affiliated with the prestigious Artémis Domaines (owned by François Pinault), Maison Bouchard Père et Fils is undergoing a renaissance. With a centuries-old history and an enviable vineyard heritage, it has always been an object of desire, boasting one of the most exquisite vineyards in all of Burgundy, featuring the finest plots, optimally located within each appellation.

Clos Vougeot, Chevalier-Montrachet, Bonnes-Mares, Beaune Grèves Vigne de l'Enfant Jésus, Pommard, Meursault, Chambolle-Musigny, and Gevrey-Chambertin are among its most famous crus. Today, it is on an irresistible rise, and its reputation is expected to climb even further.
Wine Supported by a great vintage, the 2019 red Gevrey-Chambertin showcases full maturity with notes of cherry jam, spices, and a noble, refined oakiness. The solid, fleshy structure, framed by fine tannins, contributes to this beautiful expression of Pinot Noir on this grand terroir. The wine is suitable for aging five years and beyond. Rated 93/100 by the Committee.
Vinification Harvested by hand. Traditional vinification, vatting for 15 to 18 days. Aged in optimal conditions in the cellars of the former Château de Beaune.
