The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Run by Louis Essa and Catherine Buisson-Essa, the estate is a confidential address prized by connoisseurs. The constant quest for optimal fruit ripeness, organic practices, old vines, and terroir origins, particularly in the 1st growths of Meursault, Volnay, and Pommard, are the foundations of its legitimate success.

With 2 stars in the RVF Guide, the estate is renowned for its mastery of ageing, revealing the precise ripeness of the grapes and delivering delicate, graceful and intense wines.
Wine Full of charm and suppleness, the 2021 red Beaune 1er Cru Les Vignes Franches is a fresh wine with an assertive character. In this classic vintage, there's no lack of concentration; if the tension is there, so is the flesh. With its sapid relief and beautiful energy between tart cherry and floral notes, this is one hell of a juice!
Vinification Hand harvested. Aged in new oak barrels, one wine and two wines. 584 bottles produced.
