Emmanuel Darnaud is a cornerstone of the Northern Rhône region, meticulously crafting highly appetizing wines inspired by the work of his father-in-law and mentor, Bernard Faury. Focused on deeply extracting the subtlety of his terroirs, he creates accomplished, supremely comfortable wines that are leading examples of their appellations. |

Originating from vineyards neighboring those of Gonon, the 2021 red Saint-Joseph La Dardouille presents a subtle and bright interpretation of the Syrah grape. This wine is exceptionally pure, expressing delightful smoky and bacon-like notes. Its texture is juicy, elegant, and well-balanced, supported by a noble and understated use of oak. A truly magnificent bottle! Rated 94/100 by the Committee. |
