From the best slopes of Chavanay, the 2021 red Saint-Joseph Côte Granits delivers beautiful aromas of black fruits, notably wild blackberry, with smoky touches that indicate the presence of the barrel aging, that are never dominant or insistent. The palate follows the same pattern, with elegance and restraint: we find the spirit of Saint-Joseph, with a full-bodied texture, present tannins without excess, and above all, a beautiful freshness. A wine worth waiting for, at least until the delicate end of the year, and which will be appreciated over 5 years and more. |
