An inspired winemaker, Dominique Laurent is one of the iconic figures of Burgundy who brought a refined, perfectionist edge to the world of négociants.
Based in the Côte de Nuits with his son Jean, he cultivates 11 hectares while also running a boutique négociant business held to the highest standards: grapes sourced exclusively from old vines in the region’s top vineyard sites, and meticulous barrel ageing—with oak carefully selected for future barrels. Every detail is dialed in, ensuring remarkable consistency across the range. |

A direct neighbour of Échezeaux and sourced from vines planted in 1957, the 2022 Red Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru Les Rouges Vieilles Vignes is a stunning Pinot Noir—deep, intense, and immediately captivating. Beautifully ripe and concentrated, it delivers a bold, expressive palate with wild raspberry aromas and subtle notes of spice from aging in oak barrels, beautifully woven into the wine’s structure. Framed by tannins that are both fine and firm, this is a great Burgundy built to age. A standout favourite of our Selection Committee, rated 94/100. |

Hand harvested. Vines planted in 1957, located next to Echezeaux. 70% destemmed grapes, long fermentation for 20 days, natural pre-fermentation, limited punching down and pumping over. Aged for 20 months in new barrels (wood from the Tronçais forest, made in their own cooperage). No filtration, no fining, bottled by gravity. |
