The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Philippe Alliet is a model winemaker with 2 stars in the RVF Green Guide. He consistently produces long-macerated red wines with dazzling aromas of fruit and good maturity. These sought-after bottles have become benchmarks in the Chinon appellation and, in recent vintages, have shown an increasingly fresh and natural style.

The beautiful Cravant hillsides contribute greatly to this: these magical terroirs produce a Cabernet Franc that is full of precision and flavor, easily rivaling the greatest expressions of Bordeaux.
Wine The 2020 Red Chinon Vieilles Vignes expresses all the strength of the vintage, finely tamed by a very fresh palate. There is always this impeccable tannic definition, where the winemaker manages to civilize the natural austerity of Chinon Cabernet without denying its fresh character with a natural finesse of texture. It is a deep and complex wine, which is already accessible today. Rated 92/100 RVF and 93+/100 by the Committee.
Vinification Hand harvested, vines aged between 70 and 90 years, aged in concrete tanks for 18 months.
