Sublime! Made from century-old vines, the 2022 red Saumur-Champigny Les Mémoires delivers extraordinary power and depth. It's a poetic red, still a little austere at this stage, but destined for long aging. A Cabernet Franc transcended by the flint and limestone plateau of Dampierre, with an invigorating velvety texture and floral, fruity and licorice aromatic intensity. This wine is a cut above the rest in terms of refinement and delicious length. |
