The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine This is the rising star of Sancerre! Already spotlighted by the RVF Guide, Domaine Denizot is carving out its niche alongside the most renowned names in Sancerre. Jennifer and Thibault Denizot channel their youthful energy into striking, sap-filled, and lively cuvées. Their offerings include exquisite whites characterized by beautiful bitter notes, and reds crafted with utmost finesse.
Wine Originating from lovely plots on very chalky "caillottes" soils, the 2022 Sancerre Osmoze presents an alluring profile, both floral and chalky, bursting with freshness. This is a refined white wine, possessing a delightful tension, ideal for an aperitif, to be enjoyed with Chavignol goat cheese or baked fish. A delightful bottle to share! Rated 93/100 by the Selection Committee.
Vinification Hand-harvested, grapes from Amigny, Chavignol, Sancerre and Verdigny terroirs, selected neutral yeasts, fermentation in stainless steel tanks, aged for around a year in concrete vats and oak truncated-cone tanks on the fine lees.

Thoughtful, reasoned approach, in conversion to organic farming.
