Perfectly executed, the 2022 White Pouilly-Fuissé L'Âme Forest is a model of ample and precise Chardonnay. The fresh and pure nose, with hints of honeysuckle, offers a perfectly controlled work, supported by noble oak. The palate reflects the ample and ripe character of the vintage, with a beautiful, wide, and robust texture that will refine with time. It's a wine for aging, capable of aging for another 5 to 8 years, to be enjoyed with grilled crustaceans, such as large prawns with tarragon butter, for example. Rated 94/100 by the Committee. |
