The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine A fantastic viticultural success story coupled with a formidable human adventure, Maison Guigal is today at the pinnacle of its game. Its unrivalled vineyard heritage has enabled it to square the circle: produce large volumes of wine with unrivalled quality and consistency.

Whether it's his parcel-based cuvées or his lieux-dits, the standard remains very high, with feverish attention paid to every detail. All the wines here shine with admirable consistency, reflecting the House's dedication to its terroirs.
Wine From the registered vineyard that gave its name to the appellation, the 2021 red Lieu-Dit Saint-Joseph is a syrah of full freshness, complexity, and delicacy. Another great success in this vintage of tension and balance, which should refine with time and offer one of the flagship wines of the region.
Vinification Hand-harvested, controlled alcoholic fermentation at temperatures up to 33°C, aged for 24 months in new oak.
