The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine It's no coincidence that we were immediately moved when we tasted this wine, since Château Campillot is the family estate of Branaire Ducru's winemaker, a Grand Cru Classé for which we have the utmost admiration.
Wine The 2017 red Médoc Château Campillot is a model of suave, elegant Bordeaux, carried by a beautiful, energetic, sheathed framework, suave tannins and great freshness. A total success that we enjoy whatever the vintage, and which delights with its fruity presence and fresh, powerful structure. A must-discover!
Vinification Hand harvested from September 22nd to October 2nd. Fermentation in small steel and concrete vats. Pressing by vertical hydraulic press. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
