The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Denis Jeandeau, adored by many renowned Michelin-starred chefs, had become a phenomenon in the world of wine. Celebrated establishments like Régis Marcon, Le Pré Catelan, Lameloise, L'Arpège, L’Ambroisie, and Guy Savoy, to name a few, featured his wines on their menus. Consistently awarded two stars in the RVF guide for several years, he was regarded as one of the greatest talents of his generation.

His sudden passing this summer deeply affected us, as over the years, he had become not just an associate but a dear friend to Ventealapropriete.

In light of our relationship, built since his early days, we were profoundly honored to be entrusted by his loved ones with the distribution of the last bottles he produced.
Wine A true embodiment of its magnificent limestone terroir, the 2021 white Pouilly-Fuissé Secret Minéral  is a splendid interpretation of the vintage, striking a balance between minerality and concentration. The aroma is fresh, with delicate notes of peach skin and a subtle touch of oak. The palate harmonizes with the nose, featuring a well-tuned aging that accentuates without overwhelming, achieving an ideal balance with a pure, mature, and both flavorful and generous profile. It's a wine to be enjoyed over the next five to eight years.
Vinification Hand-harvested, whole bunch pressed, fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged 100% in barrels from 1 to 8 wines.
