Offering one of the most mineral expressions of Mercurey, the 2021 red Mercurey 1er Cru Monopole Clos des Grand Voyens embodies Pinot Noir in its purest form. It presents a slightly austere, sanguine profile, yet with undeniable potential. The perfectly encased structure, backed by beautifully mature grapes, carries vigorous tannins that blossom into a rich and refined finish: this is undoubtedly a great wine for aging, best reserved in the cellar. Rated 94/100 by RVF. |
