The estate and the wine |
The Lafoy Estate, a historic address in Ampuis, is one of the key estates in the Northern Rhône Valley. The arrival of Gaëtan Lafoy has raised the quality a step further in the quest for freshness and definition. He produces impeccable wines in a natural and very digestible style, with beautiful maturation in wood. |

The 2021 white IGP Collines Rhodaniennes Viognier Alliance delivers a very pure and tapered version of the Viognier grape, especially in this fresh and tense vintage. The crunchy flavors of fruit, the suave palate, and the fine bitters punctuate a wine that is full of delicacy. We enjoy this constant and perfumed wine, a very nice introduction to the estate and the grape variety. |
