The 2022 red Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru La Riotte comes from vines planted in 1959, just below Clos Saint-Denis, on an exceptionally stony soil. This prime location shapes a generous wine with a sharp, mineral edge, expressive and full of energy, offering both indulgence and seriousness. Bright cherry flavors and crisp, crunchy tannins come together in a fresh, vibrant whole that is wonderfully generous and complete, with an invigorating character. A superb bottle to enjoy over the next decade, or to cellar for even longer. Awarded 94/100 by the French wine guide RVF. |
