The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Located in the heart of Pessac-Léognan, the Mission Haut-Brion faces Château Haut-Brion. The two mythical estates share the same terroir and the same winemaking teams. If Haut-Brion sometimes takes the upper hand when aging, the sensuality of the Mission wines gives them a superiority in their early years that is recognized by the majority of international critics and that, when aged, have nothing to envy their rival.
Wine The 2010 Red Pessac-Léognan Chapelle de la Mission Haut-Brion is a magnificent exercise in style. Deep, intense, with juvenile notes of black fruits, plum and menthol, it unfolds a palate of great amplitude, that is extremely seductive, with a grain of tannins still firm and yet terribly promising.

The 2010 vintage, rated 100/100 by Parker, marks the apotheosis of the château; the second wine is never far behind...
Vinification Hand harvested from September 8th to October 8th. Aged in oak barrels of which 35% are new. Bottled from 21 to 24 May 2012.
