The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Originally from Quebec, Pascal Marchand found in Burgundy a true haven that awakened both his passion and his talent. After 15 years as the craftsman behind Clos des Epeneaux and a pioneer of organic and biodynamic viticulture, he went on to manage Domaine de la Vougeraie. In 2006, he launched his own boutique négociant business in Nuits-Saint-Georges, partnering with fellow Canadian Moray Tawse. Together, they also acquired their own 8-hectare vineyard.

This high-end, artisanal venture—awarded one star by the RVF wine guide (a prestigious French publication for wine connoisseurs)—now offers a tightly curated selection of meticulously crafted wines, all organically grown.
Wine The 2023 Meursault White shows beautiful ripeness, opening with delicate floral aromas that give way to a refined, luxurious touch of oak, offering subtle toasted and grilled nuances. On the palate, it’s broad and generous, striking a fine balance between ripeness and freshness. The aging process—currently still noticeable—will integrate beautifully with time. A little more patience will be rewarded, as this is a precise, pure, and finely crafted wine. Rated 93/100 by the Selection Committee.
Vinification 100% whole grapes harvested, pressed, lightly crushed. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in barrels, on lees, without stirring. Pneumatic pressing. Aged for 14 months in French oak barrels, 20% of which are new wood from the Jupilles forest.
