The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Since 1876, Cordon Rouge has been the emblem of Maison Mumm. Crafted from more than 100 crus, it is recognizable by its famous red silk ribbon, paying tribute to the "Grand Cordon" of the Legion of Honor. A legendary cuvée that, year after year, remains one of the essentials of Champagne.
Wine The Cordon Rouge is an evocative champagne, both delicate and intense. The power of the Pinot Noir grapes, the finesse of the Chardonnay and the fruitiness of the Milling grapes form a trio of formidable efficiency, with a subtle balance between freshness and intensity. The perfect aperitif champagne to be served around 10-12°.
Vinification Manual harvest, elaboration from 25% to 30% of reserve wines as well as an expedition liqueur dosed at 8 grams per liter, aged in cellars for 26 months.
