The estate and the wine |

An obvious talent of the Northern Rhône Valley, Rémi Niero has made the hillsides of Côte Rôtie and Condrieu his specialty. A fan of delicate and elegant wines, praised by Robert Parker, this young talent, in the tradition of Jamet, delivers on these exceptional terroirs a totally accomplished and serene interpretation of the Viognier and Syrah grape varieties. |

Perfect reading of the viognier grape variety, the 2020 white Condrieu Chéry unfolds a great freshness in a very varied floral bouquet between lily of the valley, wisteria and bergamot. The palate continues this register with a beautiful mineral imprint, fullness, depth and substance, and a little woody touch that rounds out the whole with charm. The finish on fine bitters prolongs the tasting and brings a new energy to this wine of flesh and depth. A very good aging is in the offing. Rated 94/100 by Parker. |
