The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Explore the breathtaking terroir of Gigondas, set against the iconic Dentelles de Montmirail, with this must-have cuvée that’s bound to turn heads!

Crafted by Domaine Pierre Amadieu, the largest estate in the region and a true master of powerful, age-worthy wines, this bottle is no exception.

With vineyards perched on the finest high-altitude slopes of the Dentelles, Pierre Amadieu handpicks Grenache and Clairette at perfect ripeness. The result? Bold, character-driven wines, aged to perfection in large casks, offering incredible depth and aging potential.
Wine Delicate and refined, the 2022 red Gigondas Romane Machotte opens with a soft, powdery nose that evokes peony and floral essences, along with hints of spices, pepper, and macerated fruits. Its elegant, full-bodied structure features silky tannins and benefits from understated aging, with a touch of firmness on the finish that suggests excellent aging potential of at least 10 years. Rated 94/100 by our Selection Committee.
Vinification Hand harvested. Vinification for 21 days in concrete vats. Aged for 12 months in foudres and oak barrels.
