Château Haut-Batailley was acquired by the Cazes family (Château Lynch-Bages, Les Ormes de Pez), and since the 2018 vintage, a new dimension of this cru has emerged under their stewardship.
The transformation is evident, and the result is exhilarating!
In 2023, with a higher proportion of Cabernet and, for the first time, Petit Verdot, the cru presents itself in perfect harmony, balancing mouthfeel suppleness with a fullness of tannins. Well-encased, with a finish that unfolds lovely notes of cassis and red fruits, this wine is unmistakably Pauillac—yet it remains approachable, precise, and easy to enjoy. Rated 92-93/100 by the Revue des Vins de France.
Its style might remind you of its illustrious neighbor, Lynch-Bages... Don’t miss out on this great opportunity. |
