Another superb achievement! Rated 95/100 by Olivier Poussier and 94-95/100 by RVF, the 2023 Château Larcis Ducasse showcases unwavering classicism with a pulpy, concentrated juice, great elegance of touch, and beautifully textured finesse. This wine embodies the distinguished and flavorful signature of a great Saint-Émilion!
The estate’s 11 contiguous hectares, situated facing the Dordogne Valley, undoubtedly represent one of the finest terroirs on one of the best-exposed slopes of the appellation. It's no surprise to see it ascend to the pinnacle of Bordeaux's hierarchy. Masterfully managed by the combined teams of Stéphane Derenoncourt and Nicolas Thienpont, the cru has found new vitality under their leadership. The Gratiot family, its owners, can take pride in its assured future: Larcis-Ducasse stands among the elite, with its magnificent velvety texture, purity, tension, and spicy, high-class tannins, having few equals.
The 2023 Larcis Ducasse is simply sublime! |
