Château Angélus shines brighter than ever—both in France and around the world. Over the past two decades, the estate has delivered a remarkable run of modern, impeccably crafted wines that have defined a new standard for Saint-Émilion.
Originally introduced in 1987 as the Second Wine of Château Angélus, Le Carillon d’Angélus has evolved into a wine in its own right. Sourced from clearly defined parcels and vinified in its own dedicated cellar, it now benefits from its own tailored vinification and aging, firmly positioning it as a serious player among the great wines of Saint-Émilion.
The 2024 vintage follows closely in the footsteps of its elder sibling. It's a beautifully made wine—classic in structure, generous on the palate, full of flavor, and carrying a modern, effortless charm. It’s the result of the château team’s skill, responsiveness, and unwavering attention to detail.
The drive and vision of Hubert de Boüard—his determination to elevate the estate to the very top—are what brought Carillon to this level. The 2024 vintage is proof of that ambition, making it one of the most compelling wines on Bordeaux’s Right Bank today. |
