The estate and the wine |
Roche de Bellene is an elite house. Its founder, Nicolas Potel, crafts some of the most sensual wines in Burgundy. Very old vines, organic farming, discreet aging are finely tuned parameters that forge exceptional materials of realism and precision, with sincere and abundant fruit.
The level reached today is prodigious, and Olivier Poussier is enthusiastic about each of its wines. |

With a chalky touch and floral notes, the 2021 white Mâcon-Villages presents a very classic Chardonnay nose, in a fresh ensemble. The palate extends this clarity, all in finesse and smoothness, offering a crisp, light, and already very accessible juice, with restrained aging. A perfect white for the aperitif, paired with cheese gougères, snails, or poultry in persillade. |
