Wine The 2021 Red L’intrus Vin de France is a pretty Cabernet Franc that is quite surprising for this terroir. A welcomed intruder which boasts a good energy and tension, with notes of graphite, charcoal and an abundance of red fruits. The palate is concentrated and ripe, with fine and tight tannins. This is a serious wine at a surprising and pleasing price point, to be enjoyed after decanting paired with a prime rib, a rosé duck or a roasted lamb shoulder with rosemary. Rated 92/100 by our Selection Committee.
Vinification Hand harvested, fermentation without sulfur and only with indigenous yeasts, daily punching of the cap and pumping over, aged for 3 months in concrete tanks. Wine from Organic Agriculture, certified.
