The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine A young Crozes-Hermitage winery, the Laurent Veyrat estate is a major discovery for our Selection Committee! We are among the first to reveal this emerging talent, whose 2020 vintage is the first to be marketed.

The fifty year old vines, the granite soils, the organic farming, the care given to every detail already propel this address among the "greats of tomorrow"! Initially a cooperative, the family estate was gradually taken over by Laurent Veyrat, who is releasing his very first promising vintage in 2020.

Unquestionably, it is one of the new names to be reckoned with. Proof that the vineyard is always on the move, the fabulous terroirs of Crozes-Hermitage are seeing the birth of a new talent. Our Selection Committee has identified "a Crozes that will delight wine lovers" everywhere.
Wine The 2020 Red Crozes-Hermitage L'Antre-Coeur is immediately seductive. Its nose already delivers a perfectly mature Syrah style, very fine, with ripe and fresh aromas and a touch of smoked bacon. The palate is perfectly chiseled, carried by the generosity of the vintage while remaining straightforward, with silky tannins. The whole is coherent, it is a Crozes which will delight amateurs, a particularly fine and digestible wine. Rated 93/100 by our Selection Committee.
Vinification Vinification in thermo-regulated concrete tanks, vatting for 20 to 30 days with malolactic fermentation. Maturation in concrete vats for 70% of the harvest, then in 228-liter containers for the remaining 30%.
