The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Mentored by Olivier Jullien of Mas Jullien, Jean-Baptiste Granier has been crafting wine for over 15 years in the Terrasses du Larzac at his estate, Les Vignes Oubliées. His high-altitude parcels in the Saint-Privat area, rooted in schist and sandstone soils, yield exceptional grapes—and the resulting wines are breathtaking in both power and elegance.

These are pure, deeply expressive wines produced in small quantities, cherished by discerning enthusiasts and awarded two stars in the French wine guide RVF.
Wine What a beauty! The 2023 White Languedoc showcases Grenache Blanc, Clairette, Carignan Blanc, and Roussanne in a beautifully styled wine with pronounced floral character. Aged in large wooden vessels and concrete eggs, it offers remarkable balance—fresh yet flavorful, with a smooth, almost creamy texture. A vibrant streak of acidity adds lift, leading to a long, persistent finish. An impeccably balanced wine, rated 94/100 by the Selection Committee.
Vinification Hand harvested, sorted in the vineyard and in the cellar. Pneumatic pressing and temperature control. Aged in demi-muid (large wooden vat) and concrete egg.

This wine is sold without a capsule.
