The estate and the wine |

|
A winemaking family deeply rooted in Burgundy since the 13th century, the Clergets continue their legacy with heart and passion. For nearly a decade, Domaine Yvon Clerget has been led by Thibaud, the family's brilliant progeny who performs exemplary work here.
With intelligence and patience, this exceptional winemaker crafts from 6 hectares of vines wines that are rich, complete, and expressive, perfectly in tune with their terroirs: Meursault, Vougeot, Corton, Pommard, and of course, the heart of the domaine, Volnay! |

2017 Red Volnay 1st Cru Les Mitants, expertly crafted by Thibaud Clerget, offers refinement, featuring a blend of black fruits and spices, with a hint of new oak. This wine, with its grand stature, imposing and powerful, allows the refinement of its grape variety and terroir to shine through. While already enjoyable today, it can be aged for another good ten years. |
