A winemaking family deeply rooted in Burgundy since the 13th century, the Clergets continue their legacy with heart and passion. For nearly a decade, Domaine Yvon Clerget has been led by Thibaud, the family's brilliant progeny who performs exemplary work here.
With intelligence and patience, this exceptional winemaker crafts from 6 hectares of vines wines that are rich, complete, and expressive, perfectly in tune with their terroirs: Meursault, Vougeot, Corton, Pommard, and of course, the heart of the domaine, Volnay! |

The 2020 red Volnay 1er Cru Clos du Verseuil Monopole is a magical cuvée, coming from 45 ares of seventy-year-old vines located in the center of the village and planted north-south. It’s one of the owner's favorite cuvées, cherished like a garden, offering beautiful notes of ripe fruit, light roasting, and smoke. Silky, fresh, and refined, this Volnay develops great charm and a lot of complexity. Rated 93+/100 by Parker. |
