Domaine Albert Grivault - Meursault - Clos du Murger - White - 2022

Wine:

Entirely enclosed by stone walls, the 2022 White Meursault Clos du Murger is a true clos, a rarity in Burgundy today. This is a Chardonnay of the highest caliber, shaped by an outstanding vintage that brings both depth and structure, and aged in oak as tradition dictates. Its elegant toasted notes, hints of fresh butter, and delicate white flowers are a tribute to both terroir and grape variety. With remarkable potential, this is a wine built to impress and evolve beautifully over time.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Plot of 1.65 hectares 65 centiares, planted in 1971. Fermentation and ageing in oak barrels, some new depending on the vintage. Annual production of around 9,300 bottles.

Color:

Light and shiny golden yellow.

Nose:

Toasted notes of fresh butter mingled with the scent of very delicate white flowers.

Palate:

Sophisticated and refined, this cuvée showcases bright, expressive fruit flavors with a generous, well-structured texture. Its elegance and depth hint at excellent aging potential.

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C in a large glass.
