Wine:

Delicately floral, the 2023 Montagny Les Cent Pièces White is defined by a restrained, well-integrated aging process that lets its expressive fruit aromas shine through. On the palate, it’s vibrant and mineral-driven, with a fresh, balanced profile and just a whisper of oak influence — delivering a lively, approachable Chardonnay with real charm.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Pneumatic pressing and settling. Alcoholic fermentation for 4 weeks, followed by 16 months' ageing with stirring of the lees: 80% in vats and 20% in French oak barrels, 10% of which are new.
Vineyards of 4 ha, 89 a, 64 ca and 9.88 acres, planted 1991 and 1995.

Nose:

Delicate floral and subtle woody notes.

Palate:

Sapid palate, mineral and fresh, balanced, not very woody, this Chardonnay is dynamic, friendly and pleasant.

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C.

Escargots à la persillade, rabbit terrine, filet of trout meunière style, mature goat's cheese, saint-marcellin.

Starting today, until 2028 and beyond for enthusiasts.
