The 2021 Gevrey-Chambertin La Brunelle Red is a beautifully balanced wine that seamlessly weaves notes of cherry and rose with subtle oak that enhances rather than dominates. The palate is vibrant and juicy, with a refined finish of bitter orange. This cuvée captures the charm and generosity of its terroir, offering an approachable yet layered expression that promises excellent potential.

Vinification:

Harvested by hand. Area 2.78 ha, planted in 1953, 1956, 1963, 1967, 1979, 1980, 1983, 1985, 1987. 100% de-stemmed, vinified in open stainless steel vats. Aged for 14 months in French oak barrels.

Nose:

Aromas of cherry and rose, enhanced by subtle notes of elegant oak.
