Still in its youth, the 2021 Chinon Les Varesnes Red opens with dark fruit aromas and refined graphite notes. The palate is concentrated and beautifully ripe, with firm, structured tannins that promise excellent aging potential. A finely made wine to enjoy over the next 6 to 8 years—decanting recommended if drinking now. Rated 92/100 by our Selection Committee.Vinification:
