Wine:

A beautiful expression of its terroir, the 2021 red Côte Rôtie La Porchette reveals a very open nose, full of fruit, with a subtle touch of spice, violet and soot. The full and ample body promises a great wine, to be kept for another 4 to 5 years before opening. Rated 93/100 by the Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, vinified in stainless steel tanks, aged 18 months in barrels, 30% of which are new.

Color:

Bright red of good intensity.

Nose:

Abundant red fruit aromas punctuated by spicy notes and hints of violet.

Palate:

This rich and plump wine has a promising aging potential and releases a full-bodied palate, worthy of a great vintage.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Veal with figs, filet of duck with mushrooms, venison, duck breast.

Cellar aging:

In 5 years and until 2038, and even more for enthusiasts.
