Crafted from 60-year-old vines on the Côte Brune, the 2022 Côte-Rôtie Fongeant Red is a wine of remarkable concentration, capturing the essence of an exceptional vintage. Despite the warmth and early ripening of the year, this wine delivers juicy, precise flavors without any trace of over-ripeness. Careful harvesting and expert vinification have brought out intense, ripe, and beautifully balanced fruit. A true Rhône Valley Syrah, it’s deep, powerful, and concentrated, with vibrant, succulent fruit perfectly complemented by its measured oak aging. A superb wine with outstanding aging potential.Vinification:
Hand harvested, 70% of the grapes are vinified whole. Maceration for around twenty days.Aged for 24 months in oak barrels and demi-muids.
