Wine:

Rooted in the stony granite soils of the appellation and sourced from the oldest Syrah vines in the region, the 2019 Saint-Joseph Les Granits Red captures the purest essence of its terroir. Aged in oak barrels for 18 months, it reveals a deep, concentrated expression of Syrah, shaped by a warm, well-balanced vintage. This is a bold, spicy Red, with firm, youthful tannins and a long, persistent finish — a wine built to stand the test of time. One of the flagship cuvées of both the Maison and the entire appellation! Awarded 93/100 by Robert Parker.

Vinification:

Hand harvested at full maturity, completely destemmed, slow fermentation in small concrete vats. Aged in barrels (new barrels and barrels used for one or two wines) for 16 to 18 months.
