Wine:
From 80-year-old Marsanne vines—locally nicknamed “Ermitage” in homage to their Rhône Valley origins—and aged in 600-liter barrels, the 2019 White Valais Ermitage Marsanne expresses that heritage with remarkable finesse. This is a broad, energetic wine with real personality, offering aromas of yellow fruit and blossoms, a generous texture, and lovely weight on the palate. Its finish is long and lifted by beautifully judged bitterness. Undeniably a wine for discerning palates. Rated 94/100 by the Selection Committee.Vinification:
