Born of a magical year, the 2009 white Jurançon Les Jardins de Babylone offers a perfect balance between sugar, freshness, and alcohol. A monument of petit manseng and delicacy, of great finesse and exceptional aromatic precision, with a singular spirit. It is ready to be enjoyed with Roquefort cheese, for example, and will age for another ten years or more, depending on your personal taste. Rated 96-97/100 RVF.Vinification:

Pure and expressive through notes of pineapple, ripe mango and a touch of quince paste and with aeration even of white truffle.Palate:
With a balanced texture as much in acidity as in sweetness, this wine reveals exotic flavors through a tonic, fruity palate and reveals an infinite persistence. The whole makes you salivate!

Serve between 12 and 14°C.Food and wine pairing:
Fresh exotic fruit pie (pineapple, mango), lemon meringue pie, citrus cake, vanilla crème brûlée, passion fruit charlotte.Cellar aging:

An icon of the Loire Valley and Jurançon, Domaine Didier Dagueneau is an absolute reference for any wine lover. Exceptional flavors of fruit, freshness, and vertiginous persistence: the wines are simply unforgettable. Almost inaccessible to private individuals, reserved for the finest tables, the wines are sold privately, and only a few lucky people can get close to them.
The article in our magazine described this success in detail: the long maturation on lees remains the basis of an absolute quest for the crystalline expression of the grape variety, enhanced by a meticulous maturation in wood, in 320-liter (cigars) or 600-liter (tons) barrels. This is a complete masterpiece, and Louis-Benjamin Dagueneau, who has been at the helm for ten years, tactfully perpetuates the spirit of craftsmanship and excellence initiated by his father.
It is therefore a pleasure to offer here some of the most beautiful expressions of his terroirs of Sancerre and Jurançon (Jardins de Babylone), certainly among the most fascinating in the world!
