Wine:
Driven by Pinot Noir, the Grand Cru White Brut Champagne is the gateway to the House — though one crafted with care and precision, polished by time. A first year of aging on the lees, as in the old days, complete vinification in oak barrels and bottling without filtration give this Champagne remarkable density and freshness. The perfect apéritif Champagne, it is complete, creamy and harmonious, representing the most generous and classic signature of Egly-Ouriet. Rated 93–95 out of 100 by the French wine guide RVF.Vinification:
Hand harvested, vinified with indigenous yeasts and in oak barrels. Long maturation on lees for 50 months before disgorging. Unfiltered wine. Main base 2017 supplemented with the 2016 and 2015 harvest.Dosage 2gr/l.

From now on
The embodiment of Champagne excellence, Egly-Ouriet holds 4 stars in the prestigious French wine guide RVF — the highest distinction — and has built a reputation that matches its uncompromising standards.
From nearly 17 hectares of vineyards, including ten in Grand Cru (Ambonnay, Bouzy and Verzenay) and two in Premier Cru on the terroir of Vrigny, Francis Egly continues a prodigious legacy that few houses can rival, now alongside his son Charles and daughter Clémence. The balance and finesse of these wines have no equivalent and define a unique sense of classicism.
From the very first wine in the range, the style captivates with its integrity, combining power and restraint while handling Pinot with rare dexterity. These are Champagnes of substance, shaped by very old vines, vinified in oak barrels and aged for long years in the cellar to bloom at just the right moment. Purity, depth and nobility shine here with remarkable consistency.
