Wine:

From 50-year-old vines rooted in deep, iron-rich soils, the 2023 Red Savigny-lès-Beaune Aux Fournaux is a refined and vibrant expression of Pinot Noir. Bursting with notes of blackcurrant and fresh raspberry, it offers a delicate structure with smooth, moderate tannins. Elegant and approachable, it’s a perfect introduction to Burgundy—ideal with white meats or veal—and has the potential to age gracefully for up to 10 years.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Fermented in vats for 15 days, with punching down of the cap. Aged in barrels, 20% of which are new.

Certified organic wine from a Level 3 High Environmental Value (HVE) farm.

Very intense carmine red.

Nose:

Aromas of blackcurrant and fresh raspberry.

Palate:

Elegant and fresh, with a perfectly ripe fruitiness, this wine offers a delicate Pinot with moderate tannins, a perfectly well-behaved Burgundy.

Serve between 14 and 16°C.
