Wine:

The 2021 Swartland Palladius White, crafted from a diverse blend of grape varieties, makes an immediate impression from the very first aroma. Generous and multidimensional, it reveals stunning notes of melon, lemon, and pastry cream. Exceptional in its balance and freshness, the wine combines vibrant tension with refined bitterness that extends the palate, all complemented by indulgent hints of barrel aging.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Fermentation in amphorae, concrete vats and tuns. Aged for 24 months on the lees in amphorae, egg-shaped concrete vats and tuns.

Bright, light yellow with golden highlights.

Subtle aromas of wax underlined by notes of lemon custard and a floral hint.

Palate:

Complex, with fresh citrus flavours and a long, persistent structure marked by moderate acidity and fine balance.

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C.
