A blend of all the estate’s terroirs, aged in both barrels and large oak casks, the 2023 Morgon La Chanaise Red offers a very pleasing, balanced, and savory wine, truly delightful to taste. Fresh, pure notes of violet and cherry in syrup greet the palate, with a delicate smoky touch from the oak. The wine has great structure, with tannins that are present but effortless, framed by a vibrant freshness and persistent fruit. A wine with beautiful depth and perfect balance. The Selection Committee’s favorite, rated 93/100.Vinification:
Hand harvested. Fermentation for 15 to 18 days. Aged in concrete vats and partially in casks.Color:
