What a fullness! The 2022 red Givry 1er Cru La Grande Berge completely captivated the Committee, earning a Favorite accolade with a score of 94/100. Its very pure nose, with notes of rose, peony, and cherry, forms a complex bouquet, complemented by perfectly judged oak; a fresh, very convincing ensemble, with the added concentration and brilliance of a 1st cru! The palate continues this exemplary theme with a dense, fresh, lively, juicy, and precise juice, exceptionally well-raised. It's utterly charming!Vinification:
Hand-harvested, 100% de-stemmed, crushed and vatted. Traditional vinification. Aged in oak barrels for 11 months, 1/3 new, 1/3 one-year-old and 1/3 two-year-old.Color:
