Wine:

The 2022 Red Châteauneuf-du-Pape is the estate’s flagship wine—a classic blend of five grape varieties, with Grenache taking the lead from 50-year-old vines. Thanks to perfectly ripe fruit and a restrained aging approach (80% in concrete vats, 20% in large oak casks, no new wood), it delivers bold, juicy fruit with notes of black berries, spice, cinnamon, and wild herbs. It’s generous and full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a rich, plush texture—all lifted by refreshing fruit and remarkable freshness. A beautifully composed wine with real depth and flair. Rated 94/100 by our Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Fermented in traditional concrete vats (80%) and old oak casks (20%).

Bright ruby red.

Nose:

A delicious, juicy fruity aroma with hints of black fruits, enhanced by notes of spices, cinnamon, and dried herbs from the maquis.

Palate:

The palate offers beautiful volume, velvety and rich, with opulent substance balanced by thirst-quenching fruit that brings freshness and lightness.

Temperature:

Serve at 14–16°C.

Beef ribeye steak on a bed of shallot mashed potatoes, saltimbocca with speck and pecorino cheese, penne with chickpeas and roasted beets.
