Benefiting from the freshness of its 400-meter altitude, the 2021 red Burgundy Hautes Côtes de Nuits displays a fresh, precise, easily accessible wine. Notes of black cherry and well-adjusted ageing in oak reinforce this gourmet, very accessible approach, with very delicate tannins. A vintage of the future in the context of climate change, to be drunk over 5 years or more. Rated 92/100 by the Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, low yields. Vinification with indigenous yeasts. Aged 18 months in oak barrels.

Color:

Bright red with ruby highlights.

Nose:

Delicate and airy, with beautiful aromas of juicy, perfectly ripe red fruit.

Palate:

This precision-engineered wine reveals fresh, delicious juices, fine tannins, black cherry flavors and integrated ageing.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.

Country terrines, artisan pâté croûte, slow-cooked suckling pig chop, fondue bourguignonne.
